Prince was adamant about protecting his music, pulling it from YouTube and declining requests from streaming services. He also took all of his music off Spotify in 2015.

Fast forward to 2017, after weeks of speculation Spotify confirms that Prince’s Warner Bros catalog will be made available. It will include most of the music Prince recorded before 1995, including albums 1999, Purple Rain and Dirty Mind. Sunday is the music industry’s biggest night, the Grammy’s will pay homage to the legend and his music will be available on streaming services.

No word yet on who will be a part of the all-star “ tribute segment”. The Grammy’s will air on CBS Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, hosted by James Corden.
