Bishop Eddie Long Died Sunday At The Age Of 63

Bishop Eddie Long has died. His death was reported yesterday.

In months, speculation about Long and his health had swirled as he appeared noticeably thin in recent appearances. According to a statement from New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia, Long died “after a gallant private fight with an aggressive form of cancer.”
Long had been the senior pastor of New Birth since 1987. He is survived by his wife, four childeren and three grandchildren.
