According to the Associated Press, at least one HBCU, Talladega College, will be marching in Donald Trump’s inaugural parade later this month.
While the school has not released a statement, several sources, in addition to the AP, have confirmed their participation.
Howard University will not be participating in Trump’s parade despite marching in Obama’s parade. The band director, John Newson said as an explanation to Howard’s absence from the parade lineup, “I think everyone knows why and no one wants to say and lose their job,” according to Blavity.com.
