What’s the meaning of Labor Day? We can stick with statistics, the holiday takes place on the first Monday in September and it pays tribute to American workers. Labor Day honors the contributions made by every worker in the U.S. to help improve the nation. But statistics are boring.

So why do we celebrate labor Day?

To sum it up, it means a day off work for some, hitting the beach, great sales at the mall, the last day to wear white according to the Fashion Police, a day of relaxation and great cook-outs with family and friends.
