Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an alleged assault on George Zimmerman. Zimmerman called 911 to report an incident at Gators Riverside Grille in Stanford. He told dispatchers he was punched in the face and accused of bragging about the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin. Since the death of Martin, Zimmerman has had a number of run-ins with the law, including the road rage incident.
Scores of twitter users posted memes making a connection between Zimmerman and Dylann Roof, who was also attacked on Thursday next to a jail shower. Roof faces murder charges and could face the death penalty in the killings of nine at Mother Emmanuel Church in Charleston, S.C.,
