Free-Family Friendly Fun This Weekend

Join the City of Raleigh for the Destination Dix Community Festival, Saturday July 23 at Dorothea Dix Park. Enjoy live entertainment, kids’ activities and food at an all-day free event marking the one-year anniversary of the purchase the Dorothea Dix campus.

This free-family friendly event kicks off at 10 a.m. and the fun goes until 7 p.m. on the Big Field of Dix Park near Downtown Raleigh. Among the featured activities are 14 bands on three stages, rides, including a Ferris wheel and hot air balloon rides, 100 local vendors selling food and merchandise.
