Today, is National Sandwich Day observed annually on November 3rd. The sandwich is believed to be the namesake of John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich. It’s been said, he ordered beef between slices of bread so that he could eat while continuing to play cards, thus the birth of the sandwich.
Subway is offering two sandwiches for the prices of one. The offer is only valid when you purchase a 30-ounce fountain drink.
Arby’s is offering a free Roast Beef Classic, if you buy a drink and sign up for the company’s email list, as well as the same sandwich Tuesday for 99 cents (there’s a limit of 20 per customer) without the download.
