Whoopi Goldberg‘s standup show this weekend was brought to a screeching halt when her tour bus burst into flames.
While “The View” host was cracking jokes onstage at a casino in New Brunswick, Canada, her tour bus caught fire, TMZ.com reports. Her show was immediately stopped and the audience was evacuated from the auditorium.
There’s no word on what may have caused the blaze at this time.
Since Whoopi was performing when her bus went up in smoke, she wasn’t hurt. However, it’s unclear whether any members of her crew were on board during the explosion. Whoopi was so grateful to the firefighters that put out the blaze that she had to snap a quick picture with them.
