Raleigh Police Officer Talks Man Off Bridge; Hugs Him [VIDEO]

A Raleigh police officer, it appears, convinced a man not to jump off a bridge on the Beltline last night over Wade Avenue. After building a rapport with the man, the officer talked the man off the bridge where he and the officer shared a hug.

The police officer was off duty and headed home when he saw the man. A North Carolina Department of Transportation traffic camera captured the event.
