Featuring a photograph from an aspiring 26-year-old West Baltimore native named Devin Allen, the black and white image of a young black man running in the streets of Baltimore with a sea of police officers behind him has people talking.
Although a striking image, what is most impacting and sad about the cover is the caption, “America,
1968” with the year 2015 etched above it along with the statement, “What has changed. What hasn’t.”
