A NCCU student is now charged with an accident that killed a fellow student. Tariq Jacobs is charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle in a crash that killed Chekeria Reid last week. Police say Jacobs crossed the center line on NC Hwy 55 near Crete Road.
The Raleigh city council approved several changes at a public hearing. The new rules, owners are banned from using cars or trucks with logos if they are used for regular business. The change is directed toward people who have parked AD covered cars by the side of the road.

DASH CAM VIDEO TO BE RELEASED IN CHARLESTON. The South Carolina police officer charged with shooting a fleeing unarmed black man in the back was allowed to stay on the force despite an earlier complaint. A complaint that the officer used excessive force against another unarmed man. Authorities will look at the dash cam video today to determine what happen before the fatal shooting.
