Disney ABC Television Group's 2012 "TCA Summer Press Tour"

Columbus Short, aka Harrison the gladiator from “Scandal,” has landed his first TV role since domestic abuse allegations got him kicked off the hit TV show. TV One is giving him a second chance and cast him in the horror flick, “Fear Files.”

The back story Columbus will play city councilman Harvey Jordan. The councilman, meets resistance from his community when he plans to build a football field in a low-income neighborhood. When the last person standing in his way dies in a mysterious fire, people begin to question whether the death was an accident or a part of a plan carried out by Jordan.

The “Fear Files” trilogy will premiere Friday March 13 at 8 p.m. on TV One.
