A great deal of talented groups have come out of the Mid-West, to include the legendary Isley Brothers. They were originally a vocal trio consisting of brothers O’Kelly Isley, Jr., Rudolph Isley and Ronald Isley. As of 2013, the Isley Brothers continue to perform under the lineup of Ronald and Ernie. The legendary group is one of the most influential in the music industry and they are coming to the DPAC, Mother’s Day weekend, May 10th.

Spanning over 6 decades, the Isley Brothers have given us hits like “Shout”, “Twist and Shout” and “This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You)”,”It’s Your Thing,” to name a few. The group has been awarded with accolades including inductions to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame as well as the R&B Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award.
