A voluntary product recall has been issued by Nutek Disposables, Inc. The wipes are sold under the brand names Cuties, Diapers.com, Femtex, Fred’s, Kidgets, Member’s Mark, Simply Right, Sunny Smiles, Tender Touch and Well Beginnings. Bacteria were found in some packages distributed before Oct. 21.
Items may contain Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia), bacteria that can pose issues for people living with health problems, such as cystic fibrosis or chronic lung diseases, that lead to a weakened immune system.
They baby wipes were sold to: Walgreens, Sam’s Club, Family Dollar, Fred’s and Diapers.com. You can return the wipes for a full refund where you bought it. If you have questions, you can call the company at 1-855-646-4351, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
