Moral Week of Action Rally Today In Raleigh
North Carolina’s NAACP will wrap up a week of demonstrations at the state capitol today, with a rally focusing on voting rights and voter mobilization. The rally falls on the 51st anniversary of the March on Washington led by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Demonstrators will gather at the Bicentennial Mall at 5:00p.m. and the rally “Vote Your Dreams, Not Your Fears” will get underway at 5:30 p.m.
The event is part of a week-long demonstration held by the NC NAACP to bring attention to the destructive laws being passed by the North Carolina legislature.
