Woman Discovers Rental Was Formerly a Murder Chamber Used By Killer

Do your homework before buying or renting a house or apartment. One Missouri woman, Catrina McGhaw found out the hard way, she discovered the home she was renting had been a serial killer’s torture chamber after seeing it in a TV documentary. It turns out the landlord is the accused killer’s mother who did not disclose problems with the house nor let McGhaw out of her lease. According to Missouri law, landlords don’t have to tell applicants about crimes that have been committed on their property. McGhaw later took her complaint to the St. Louis Housing Authority and will be out of the house by the end of the month. It sounds like laws need to be changed in Missouri.
