Dr. Maya Angelou, poet and essayist was one of the most renowned and influential voices of our time will be missed. Dr. Angelou was found dead this morning in her Winston-Salem home. She was a writer, an actress, director, playwright, composer, singer, dancer and activist.
I have only one regret, I did not take advantage of an invitation to come to Winston-Salem, to listen to her words of wisdom and cook along side this Phenomenal Women.
