Planning on taking  your little monsters to a local mall for trick-or-treating? Here’s who is offering special hours for the Halloween activities.

Crabtree Valley Mall will host trick-or-treaters from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday. This year, they’ll have a photo booth set up and a contest to see who can guess the weight of a giant pumpkin in the food court. There’s also a map showing merchants who will offer candy. This is for kids 10 and under while supplies last.

Cary hosts a Safe-N-Sane Halloween event at Cary Towne Center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today. Some stores will be handing out candy. There also are stories, a magic show, contest and more planned.

Select stores will be handing out candy at Carolina Premium Outlets in Smithfield from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., today.

Crossroads Plaza in Cary will have trick-or-treating from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., today. They will also offer face painting in the food court.

In Chapel Hill, University Mall will host trick-or-treating and a costume contest from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., today.

At North Hills in Raleigh, the Chick-fil-A will host a superhero event from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and some North Hills merchants will be handing out candy to kids.

The Streets at Southpoint, Northgate Mall and Triangle Town Center do not offer organized trick-or-treating.
