One shooter is apparently dead after opening fire Monday morning at the Washington Navy Yard. Officials are investigating the possibility of additional shooters wearing military-style uniforms. According to sources, at least twelve people were killed and at least four others were wounded. Who opened fire at the headquarters for Naval Sea Systems Command and why remains unclear. The headquarters is the workplace for about 3,000 people, the largest of the Navy’s five system commands. President Obama, called the shooting a “cowardly act” that targeted military and civilians serving their country.
