LeBron James Goes to Jury Duty
Look who showed up for jury duty in Akron, Ohio.
Yep, none other than King James himself, LeBron James. But, he was sent home because he wasn’t chosen.
James, who’s a resident of the area, first posted some “selfies” of himself as he was preparing to go to the courthouse as a prospective juror.
“Jury duty time. Time to serve my civic duty,’’ James wrote on his Instagram photo account.
And since, as we said above, he wasn’t chosen, he left the downtown Akron building about 10:30 a.m.
Word of his appearance quickly went viral as ESPN and others picked up the news via Facebook and Twitter.
