Black Woman Recieves Honorary Degree 60 Years After Racist Rejection
Mary Price Walls was rejected from Missouri State University due to the color of her skin. Officials from the university realized they were wrong and offered her an honorary degree and a chance to walk and graduate with the class of 2010.
