Durham’s serial pig cooker thief has been caught! Police arrested Raymond Lamont Bailey yesterday. He’s been charged with felony habitual larceny. Investigators say he sold a pig cooker worth $4000 from a home on Mineral Springs Road in May.

Royal Oaks Apartments in Durham were engulfed in flames Monday afternoon. Firefighters had not identified anyone injured in the fire. At least seven of the 12 units were involved in the fire. The apartments are located at Mayfair and Weymouth streets in southwest Durham. courtesy WRAL
