According to the economists, parents looking to adopt a child have the nerve to not only be Susie choosey but to have a dominant preference towards avoiding African American children. Now one might have thought that this was the new trend the way Madonna and Angelina were snatching up kiddies like the latest handbag during fashion week, but sadly that’s just not the case.
It’s one thing to prefer a little boy or girl but to deny an innocent child a home based on race is outrageous on every possible level. These results were not just some quick fill out a form and submit casual study either, nope the study was based on five years of data from 2004-2009 culled from a website run by an adoption intermediary.
