The Clayton Police Department says that a claim from an 11-year-old boy that a man had attempted to kidnap him late Thursday afternoon is unfounded.
Police say the investigation into the incident “tends to indicate that this alleged attempted abduction did not occur.”
Police were called to the Riverwood Athletic Subdivision on April 15 around 7:10 p.m. with a report that the juvenile was waved down and subsequently approached while jogging.
