Ralph Johnson of the iconic band Earth, Wind & Fire and singer Siedah Garret have come to together to bring a new single called Aura featuring Siedah Garrett and Verdine White. This song is packed with nothing but talent and inspiration!
“Actually, you know what’s funny, this tune started last holiday season,” explained Johnson. “This hook about aura came into my head and I started working on these lyrics. I can swear and I tell people still, I can swear Maurice was channeling through me on these lyrics.”
Really inspired by the lyrics he sent it over to his co-writer Marcel East and then over to Garrett for vocals. “Ralph thought that it would be a great idea for us to collaborate and Ralph was right,” exclaimed Garrett.
She was really inspired by the message of the song, explaining that it encourages us to, “live your life, live it to the fullest, embrace it the fullest.”
