“Why is it that when black men become successful they leave black women behind?” It was the question of the day at Women’s Empowerment 2017. Actor Darrin Henson moderated the Black Men Revealed panel and explained, that in his opinion, choosing to date white women once you achieve a certain level of success “is an individual choice that is questioned by the collective.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there will ever be one definitive answer.
