This year’s Thanksgiving holiday should make for some interesting conversation. But in order to maintain the peace, here’s a topic to never to discuss around the table Politics! or your thanksgiving table could turn into a fourth presidential debate!
If your family is divided over the outcome of the recent presidential election, check out five conversation ideas that should produce civil conversations for the dinner table:
1. Football

3. The weather
If you’re traveling up north in some parts of New England on Thanksgiving, you could see several inches of snow. The weather could be a topic of discussion.
4. Shared memories
Thanksgiving is a great time to catch up with family or old friends you haven’t seen in a while. Instead of debating on what can’t be change for at least four years, try turning the clocks back to fond memories. Give everyone a chance to tell their favorite story about someone at the dinner table.
5. Each other
