John Glenn went down in history as the first American to orbit the Earth in 1962, however, he would not have been successful without the help of three African-American women. Their story is being told in the movie “Hidden Figures”, the untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe), brilliant women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in US history.

The project is expected in theaters January 13th.
