A large police presence remains at Crabtree Mall several hours after an apparent shots fired. Raleigh police said the situation was de-escalating but no arrest have been made nor any suspects identified.
At a press conference, Raleigh Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown said the mall is “still on lockdown and the mall is a massive crime scene.”
According to EMS at least eight people were treated for injuries due to the chaos of people running to leave the mall and heat injuries, however none life threating.
Police are asking if anyone saw or hear gunshots to help police with this investigation.
