Last week, General Mills recalled 10 million pounds of flour due to possible E. coli  contamination. Now this week, the company has issued a recall on four varieties of Nature Valley bars, due to Listeria contamination. The recall affects Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars.

The recalled bars contain sunflower seeds that were part of a larger SunOpta recall in May. General Mills is cautioning consumers that all recalled products should be disposed of regardless of when they were purchased.

The specific products being recalled are:

Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bar – Honey, Peanut & Almond with Pumpkin Seeds – 5 count

Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bar – Peanut, Almond & Dark Chocolate – 5 count

Nature Valley Simple Nut Bar – Almond, Cashew & Sea Salt – 4 count

Nature Valley Simple Nut Bar – Almond, Cashew & Sea Salt – 25 count

Nature Valley Simple Nut Bar – Roasted Peanut & Honey – 4 count

Nature Valley Simple Nut Bar – Roasted Peanut & Honey – 16 count
