Karrrine ‘Superhead’ Steffans, caused many to raise their eyebrows when she took to social media and called Oprah and Maya Angelou the “unthinkable”. It was her attempt to point out a double standard.
The situation came about when Steffans responded to a rude fan who told her:
“I look up to Oprah. I want to be a woman like Oprah not you. Everything you do is tasteless.”
Steffans clapped back with:

Now, granted Oprah and Maya Angelou didn’t become famous through their sexual exploits. They are known for being strong black women who overcame obstacles and who have contributed a lot to society.
Sensing her Tweets may have gone over a few people’s heads:
“Explained that a woman’s storied past isn’t an indicator for what she can become”.
Your thoughts? Could she have found a better way to get her point across without throwing shade to Oprah and Mya Angelou?
