There is a weak storm passing through our area that could bring some light flurries on Wednesday. In anticipation of the precipitation, Wake and Durham public schools have cancelled all after-school activities for today.
While the amount of snow we could receive is light, the cold temps could keep it from melting immediately. There is a larger storm moving into eastern North Carolina on Friday that could give us a wintry mix into Saturday.
