Widely known for his win on TBS’ Funniest Wins, comedian Sydney Castillo is performing at the Arlington Improv this weekend. But before he hits the stage, he talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his experience at the worst strip club ever and dishes about life behind the mic as an accomplished writer for some of television’s funniest shows.
“The worst strip club I’ve been to was in Ft. Worth, Texas. They didn’t have a pole, they were dancing around a tree. They were dancing to Pandora.”
Writing for the Tony Rock Project amongst other hit shows:
“Hell Date was the first writing job I had. I wrote for the BET Awards, Prank My Mom and a lot of hidden camera shows.”
So what’s next? He will star in 50 Shades of Black, the new Marlon Wayans produced parody film coming in January. Watch the trailer below.
