Comedian Alex Thomas is performing at The Promontory in Chicago this week, but before he takes the stage he talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about being a first-time father, dancing on Soul Train and In Living Color and how Will Smith helped him get his first job in Hollywood.

“I was 15 years old dancing on Soul Train. I became best friends with Rosie Perez. I became her assistant to the Fly Girls and that’s where I met Damon Wayans and Keenan Wayans,” Thomas said.
