Coach Dean Smith is still being celebrated in his death.
The former UNC Men’s Basketball coach is still making people smile. Smith made arrangements in his will for each of his former players to receive $200. That’s about 180 players. The note accompanying the checks indicates that the former players should “enjoy a dinner out compliments of Coach Dean Smith.”
