A group of approximately 60 people marched through Durham’s Streets At Southpoint Mall yesterday chanting “Black lives matter,” according to WTVD. Eventually, the group staged a die-in at Nordstrom.
Later, the protesters blocked Fayetteville Road between Herndon Road and Renaissance Parkway for approximately 40 minutes, according to WTVD. Nine protestors were arrested. In addition, a tractor trailer driver who allegedly attempted to drive through the group of protestors was arrested.
