Colorado legalized recreational and medical use of marijuana and according to Gov. John Hickenlooper, the state is predicting tax revenue from the sale of recreational and medical marijuana will reach 134 million dollars for the upcoming fiscal year. Govenors and legislators around the country will be saying “Hey, look at these numbers”, says a Seattle Democratic lawmaker. In Colorado the money will be used for regulating oversight, school construction projects, substance abuse treatment and drug prevention programs.
