After a half year of retirement from the NBA, Tracy McGrady is working with former major league pitcher Roger Clemens in an attempt to play professional baseball. During a recent NBA telecast, analyst Jeff Van Gundy said “I think he (McGrady) is gonna play in an independent baseball league this summer as a pitcher”. Sources say the Sugar Land Skeeters have shown interest in Tracy, who supposedly has a 90mph fastball; during a 2006 interview McGrady said baseball was his first love and would like to play again someday.
