Will test tube burgers soon hit the dinner table or your favorite burger joint? Scientist at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands conducted experiments on beef. The meat was made from the muscle cells of two organic cows. The cells were put into a nutrient solution to help them develop into muscle tissue, growing into small strands of meat. It takes 20,000 strands to make a single 5-ounce patty.

Would you eat a stem-cell created burger?
