Former Envogue member Dawn Robinson finally talks about why she left the group; considered to be a troubled artist, a problem, difficult artist and trouble maker, Robinson says “I stirred up trouble because we were only making 2 cents per album; who wouldn’t go postal if they’re making 2 cents and everyone else is making millions? We worked hard and everybody else got rich; that’s a problem, I just couldn’t take it; the other ladies were like: Dawn you’re right but we can’t fight the record company. I felt like we have the music so we have the power. The lawsuit, well that was Terry and Cindy against Maxine; I wasn’t named in that”. Dawn can be seen on R&B Divas, L.A.
