Career minded and job-seeking professionals have one last opportunity to participate in one of Durham’s best opportunities for job search success.

The Professional Placement Network Academy (PPNA) is hosting its final event of the 2012-2013 series, which offered interactive workshops on topics designed to help every jobseeker. The final workshop topic will be how to create a financial plan in today’s economy. The event will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Spring Hill Suites, located at 5310 McFarland Drive, Durham (on U.S. Hwy. 15-501 towards Chapel Hill).

Participants who attended four classes during the 2012-2013 series will also gain entrance to a unique, invitation-only employment networking event to be planned for later this year.

The 2013-2014 series is anticipated to begin in September 2013 with events occurring the third Thursday of every month. The PPNA is designed to provide opportunities for mid-to-upper level professionals who have earned at least $30,000 per year or have received higher education credentials or professional certifications, PPNA provides a place for professionals to come together to share ideas, employment leads, and current job market information.

Participants interested in learning more about the PPNA or attending the July 18 event should visit http://www.DurhamPPN.org or RSVP at http://durhamppn071813-es2.eventbrite.com/#.
