Last night The NBA draft was full of surprises and head scratching moments. We saw NBA Commissioner David Stern constantly being booed throughout the evening, and unknown international players drafted in the first round.

This is the first time since 2000, the draft was without a player from UNC, NC State and Duke among the top 20 picks. Congrats to Reggie Bullock who goes to the LA Clipper, Ryan Kelly is headed to the Lakers, Lorenzo Brown is on his way to the Timberwolves, and Mason Plumlee is off to the Nets. I was a bit disappointed NC State player C.J. Leslie wasn’t drafted, but he later reached an agreement on a deal with the New York Knicks.

Good Luck to all the players, stay healthy and I’m looking forward to the 2013-2014 season.
