This weekend there are three movies that you can see to beat away the rainy blues.

The Internship

This Google-based comedy reunites Wedding Crashers duo Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in a film that has two men out of work (and out of touch) land internships with Google. Expect it to be a light, enjoyable comedy with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson bringing back the dream team.

The Purge

What if there was one day with no rules, no limitations and you could get away with murder….literally? Well, The Purge is a film that explores that very concept. It centers around the idea that one day, people are allowed to break any law they wish. Starring Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey as the parents of a family who are attacked by a group a masked murderers after they provide a safe haven to someone else. The buzz around this one has been good and who doesn’t love a good home invasion movie?

Much Ado About Nothing

Shakespeare plays have always been ripe for film adaptations and the latest from Joss Whedon promises to be a fun, modern adaptation of the famous drama. The story follows the romantic entanglements of two very different couples, who are subject to the plots and schemes of the people around them. Whedon has assembled a stellar cast that have been in his other works including Nathan Fillion, Amy Acker, Sean Maher, Fran Kranz. It’s sure to be a witty, enjoyable adaptation of the Shakespeare classic that’s worth a look.
