The F.D.A. is concerned about energy drinks and their effect on our overall health. Nutrition expert Aimee Raupp says to beware of the following energy drinks, because they may exceed the F.D.A. mandated 71 milligrams of caffeine: Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, Full Throttle, Sobe No Fear. Energy drinks don’t have to follow F.D.A. regulations because they’re not sold as food, but as nutritional supplements.
