Christmas may not be here until December, but you don’t have to wait until then to celebrate the holiday season. The 69th Annual Raleigh Christmas parade will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013. The parade is presented by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association and starts at 9:40 A.M. The parade route begins at Hillsborough and St. Mary’s streets and heads east to the state Capitol. It briefly goes around the Capitol on Salisbury and Morgan streets before heading down Fayetteville Street to Lenoir Street. The procession runs until noon.
