First lady Michelle Obama will speak in North Carolina on Wednesday to students and campaign supporters in Durham. The Durham event at N.C. Central University’s McClendon-McDougald Gymnasium is open to the NCCU campus community. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with Michelle Obama’s remarks scheduled for 1:40 p.m.
Tickets will be distributed to those with NCCU student IDs today at 9 a.m. at the Alfonso Elder Student Union Building on the university’s campus.
The First Lady’s speech will reportedly focus on encouraging people to help organize their communities between now and November and promoting voter registration through GottaVote.com.
