I’m all for art–self-expression and all, but still life, art and fashion photographer Henry Hargreaves may be taking art to the next level. And not in a good way.
Hargreaves has created a wide spectrum of work for commercial clients like Ralph Lauren, V, New York Magazine and in his personal projects like 3DD–a 3D Celebration of Breasts, The Death Row Last Meal series, Bacon Alphabet or the Edible Subway, he has been able to push the envelope and develop collections that spark thought-provoking conversations. Hargreaves’ restless and curious mind, fascination with the unusual or quirky and a desire to see how photography can illuminate the world define his work.
In his latest collection, “Deep Fried Gadgets,” you’ll see just that. Is this art, or is it just…a waste of perfectly good Apple products.
