This June Magic Johnson’s Aspire network will join Comcast’s basic channel package. Aspire is a family friendly network featuring African American movies, comedy and music; Magic says the network will make you think, by presenting programming that’ll let you know what’s going on in our community everyday. Sean Diddy Combs’ Revolt network is scheduled to launch in 2013; Diddy’s mission is to make Revolt the number 1 name in music television; the announcement of the new network was made at the Newseum in D.C.; Diddy thanked Representatives John Lewis and Maxine Waters and television trailblazers Bob Johnson and Oprah Winfrey.
