On Saturday, October 8th, beginning at 9:00 am, runners and walkers of all ages will meet in Moore Square in downtown Raleigh to support families living with autism across our state.

The Triangle Run/Walk for Autism is part of the Second Empire Grand Prix Series and is USATF certified. It includes a 5K race, a 5K con-competitive run, a recreational 1 mile run/walk, and the Carolina Hurricanes’ Kids’ Dash. The Triangle Run/Walk for Autism is a festival for the community, with live music, a children’s play area, vendors, snacks, and awards.

In 2010, the Triangle Run/Walk for Autism hosted over 3,000 participants and 168 teams, raising over $235,000 to support autism programs in North Carolina. This year’s goals are to raise $300,000 and have over 225 teams. For more information, please visit http://www.trianglerunwalkforautism.com or call 919-865-5057.
