It was an unimaginable tragedy. Raquel Nelson’s 4-year-old son Aaron Newman was killed on a Georgia road last year by a hit-and-run driver. The driver was caught, and served six months in jail. But it now turns out that Nelson herself may spend more time behind bars than the man who ran down her son.
That’s because the accident occurred as Nelson was trying to cross the busy Marietta, Ga., street with her son and two daughters. They were not at a crosswalk.
